Chapainawabganj Mango Orchards

Chapainawabganj is Bangladesh's mango heartland, with vast orchards of Himsagar, Langra, Fazli and Gopalbhog across the district. Between May and August — peaking around June — visitors walk the orchards, meet growers and eat mangoes straight off the tree. Orchards around the district town and Kansat are the easiest to reach.

Choto Sona Mosque

Built under Sultan Alauddin Husain Shah (1493–1519), this is among the finest pre-Mughal monuments of Bengal. Its brick-and-stone structure takes its 'golden' name from domes once gilded; visitors see carved stonework, glazed tiles and fifteen original dome positions. It is the anchor sight of a Gaur-area day trip from Chapainawabganj town.

Mughal Tahakhana

A three-storied retreat built by Shah Shuja, son of Emperor Shah Jahan and Subahdar of Bengal, in honour of his spiritual mentor Shah Syed Niyamatullah — the name means 'cool palace'. The complex includes a hammam, a mosque and a tomb, and is protected by the Department of Archaeology. It lies close to Choto Sona Mosque, so the two are visited together.
