Seasonal warning: Mango season runs May–August, peaking in mid-June; outside the season orchards are leafy but fruitless.

Introduction

Chapainawabganj is Bangladesh's mango heartland, with vast orchards of Himsagar, Langra, Fazli and Gopalbhog across the district. Between May and August — peaking around June — visitors walk the orchards, meet growers and eat mangoes straight off the tree. Orchards around the district town and Kansat are the easiest to reach.

Suggested time: one day

How to get there
