A scenic white-stone quarry area along the Dhalai river in border-area Bholaganj, Companiganj upazila, which rapidly became a tourist spot in recent years. However, The Daily Star reported that the 15-acre tourist site was stripped bare within a year by large-scale stone extraction that spread after August 2024; there have also been reports of temporary closure and reopening. Verify the site's current condition and accessibility before travelling.
