Introduction
A natural char of about 1,000 acres lying 5 km east of Kuakata beach, covered with keora, gewa, goran, koroi and golpata trees. It works as a quieter complement to Kuakata and is easily combined with a Kuakata trip. There are no shops or accommodation on the char itself - stay in Kuakata.
Suggested time: Half a day
How to get there
From Kuakata, hire a motorcycle (200-300 taka). From Dhaka, take a bus to Kuakata/Patuakhali or a launch to Patuakhali, then continue to Kuakata.
