Introduction
An roughly 18-km-long sea beach at Kalapara in Patuakhali district, southern Bangladesh. Known as the 'Daughter of the Sea' (Sagorkanya) because both sunrise and sunset can be seen from the same spot.
How to get there
Direct buses run from Dhaka, or travel by launch via Barishal/Patuakhali. From Patuakhali town, take a bus/CNG to Kalapara–Kuakata.
