Introduction

A hilltop tourist centre on the Bandarban–Thanchi road at roughly 2,350 feet above sea level. It is known for sunrise and sunset above cloud cover and sweeping views of the surrounding hills. Winters turn genuinely cold, so carry a warm jacket.

How to get there

Reach Bandarban town by bus from Chattogram (about 7-8 hours), then hire a local guide or vehicle (chander gari/jeep) for the winding road up to Nilgiri. Confirm current fares and schedules locally before travelling.
