Introduction
A Bay of Bengal beach near the mouth of the Karnaphuli river, about 14 km south of Chattogram city, beside the airport and Naval Academy. Popular for sunsets and patrolled by the Bangladesh Navy.

From the city centre take a bus, CNG or hired car about 14 km south to Patenga; confirm fares locally.
