Muktagachha Zamindar Bari
মুক্তাগাছা জমিদার বাড়ি (আটআনি জমিদার বাড়ি) · Muktagachha, Muktagachha upazila town, Mymensingh district, Mymensingh Division
Introduction
The Rajbari of the Brahmin zamindar family of Muktagachha, roughly 20-25 km west of Mymensingh town, now partly used as Shahid Smrity College and falling into ruin for lack of care. A 200-year-old twin Shiva Temple stands just outside the zamindar house, where Durga Puja is still celebrated. The town is also famous for its traditional sweetmeat, Monda, which makes an easy half-day trip combined with the palace.
Suggested time: Half day (including the temple and buying Monda)
How to get there
From Mymensingh town, take a Muktagachha-bound local bus, CNG or auto-rickshaw (about 45 minutes to 1 hour). From Dhaka, reach Mymensingh first by train or bus, then continue to Muktagachha.

The honest truth about costs
There is effectively no formal ticket for the palace; confirm local bus/auto fares on the spot.
What you will need to budget for
- Getting there (bus, train, launch or air fare)
- Stay (per night, per room)
- Food (per person, per day)
