Introduction

Bangladesh's busiest land port, directly opposite India's Petrapole checkpoint. The zero point draws border watchers and it is a hub for cross-border train and bus services. Hotels and food are available around Benapole/Sharsha; follow border rules when photographing.

How to get there

Jashore town to Benapole by bus/CNG; Dhaka-Khulna buses also pass via Benapole. Per the source, Benapole railway station is about 2 km from the international passenger terminal. Confirm current fares.
